Ok, so the reader poll asks about one's favorite "jackknife attachment." It might just be me, but I'm wondering how a knife blade could be an attachment on a jackknife. Isn't it the essential part of the jackknife, just as cheese is what defines a -- all right, I'll stop dredging up that discussion again (although I think my reasoning still stands). Without a knife blade, you would have something like a jacktweezers or jackscissors, in which case, a knife blade would be a mere attachment.
