Scissors-Paper-Rock is as much a matter of psychology as strategy. You could be making "good" strategic choices but if your opponent insists on being, shall we say, "dense without even thinking about it", he'll still be relying on his 11% chance of winning each hand. Ideally, you can increase your chances of winning by intuiting his preference biases. But that's difficult without knowing your opponent.
