{I wrote this early in the day but couldn't post it from my previous location. I said I was banned}

TPM is a kid's movie, but when George Lucas was iasked if he made it
specifically a kids movie (becuase of Jar Jar), he said "No." LAter on, when
people attacked Jar Jar, he said, "Hey, it's a kid's movie." It's kind of
like how he keeps saying "it's basically a silent film", but when
interviewed with his sound editors, he said "the sound is half of the movie
(Star Wars specifically, not all movies). I wish he'd get his stories
straight, he tends to get defensive about his movies. As for the plot
twists, I like ya Lance, you seem cool, and it was very imaginative, but it
"sucks the big one."

Star Wars: TPM was a good movie. You can't argue that fact. Take away the
original trilogy, and people would worhsip TPM. Buuuttt, it feels and looks
like TPM was just some elaborate 3dfx demo reel. George was just trying to
outdo himself. I mean, look at the progression of the movies:
ANH: 1 climactic battle (Yavin IV)
ESB: 2 climactic battles (MF escaping TIES, Luke and Vader)
ROTJ: 3 (Endor, Endor shield gen, Luke and Vader)

TPM: 4 (Palace, space, lightsabre, Gungans)

TPM is a classic case of trying to be "bigger" and therefore "better" Not
just "better"
