OK, now, since we're suggesting changes...
I have to ask if anyone noticed what I thought to be the biggest problem with the whole pod racing scene, or if there's something I'm missing so that it actually makes sense.

OK, so, Anakin's pod is stalling. He misses the first, what, five minutes or so of the race. This is no ten-second head start the others are getting, it's a major, distinct disadvantage. I get that part-- they're trying to build suspense even though there's no doubt Anakin will win with all there is riding on the race. But, how can he go fast enough ot regain the lost time until he catches up with that evil little buggy guy [name unknown] and, somehow, have extreme difficulty passing him? I mean, he SLOWS DOWN when he nears the head of the pack. How much sense does that make?
