I sometime do... Well, mostly when I pay 2.95 for a small poutine, and want to get ride of the nickel... Or when the person is really nice (AKA, not the idiot at my school's cafe who calls people dude, say wassup and such).

Other times, when they're being helpful, or seem particularly overworked. I'm a nice guy like that.

Usually, tips in restaurant is "What's left to round up to the next bill". I'm a kid, I'm not expected to pay full tip (I can't afford it)...

But then, sometimes, the waiter's really nice. (Like the one, two weeks ago, who went from "Forcefully nice" to "Well, if you guys give me permission to swear..."*, and chatted up as he brought the plates)

*He was about our age (18-20), and we were being fun, so it's ok... For me, anyhow.
