---My husband (Richard) is a truck driver so he is not home often. He will be going over the road with Richard this summer though, which will help then but doesn't do much to help right now.
You will not be able to let him sink or swim on his own - you may even try to, but it likely won't work: involved and caring parents (as you obviously are) are proactive, and unwilling to let go that much! ---I know!!! How do you fight against the maternal instincts to save your child ? =0(
