The best one I received was when my brother and I were puny, and we squabbled all through dinner. He insisted that I was arrogant and bossy, which was true, so I had to gloat when he received a generic fortune and mine said, "You are master of all you see."

More recently, we went out with a big group. Someone in the group received an empty fortune cookie. My cookie had two fortunes.
