I think it refers to when they say "Hey, here's
$2500 of what you paid us," and proceed to
hand you $2500 in cash. It's the old "instant
rebate" vs. "save money in the long run"
debate. People who need to save money
*now* take the $2500 cash, while the ones
who don't choose the low APR and save
money on the interest on their monthly car
payments, which will *eventually* add up to
savings of more than $2500.
