Okay, first things first. I belong to a Messianic Israelite congregation. It's very similar to Messianic Judaism, but we differ mainly on our interpretations of Ezekiel 37 and our divisions of peoples. Before we were a Messianic Israelite congregation, we were Messianic Jewish. We had not heard about this thing before, but once we did hear, we found that it was closer to Scriptural truth. But I digress...

While we were still a Messianic Jewish congregation, I once typed hamashiach (a word meaning The Messiah) into a search engine. from there, I found a family's web site. The teenage daughter of the family had her own section, and I went there. The Dialectizer was in her links list. (Upon a later visit, I found that that link was replaced with a link to the RinkWorks main page.) After fooling with the Dialectizer a bit, I noticed the RinkWorks logo. And it was clickable! I clicked it, and found myself on the main page. This was when there was no Reader's Poll, no sidebar on the left(all the links to the different parts of the page were linked to by the logos, and they each had descriptions beside them. Like the Site Guide is now.), feature updates weren't announced, there was no RinkChat(we sat around reloading the Recent Mesages page)... It was a bit before I ventured onto the Forum, but once I found it, I posted the same day. After a while of that, RinkChat was released. I went in for the first time that very day, I think. One room, refreshing, no ops, no graphical smileys, no memos, only one recipient at a time could receive a private message, no bot games, no /rose or :rose:, no /hug, no /act, no /label, no dice, no minute rule of banner ads(basically, a banner ad stays in the frame for 1 minute, barring reloads. After that, if you say something, the ad, and only the ad, changes)... it was very different from the way it is now. And I've been here practically every day since, with a few notable exceptions.
