In the "losing money" version of the Site Market Game that you're testing right now, Sam, would you be starting everyone out with piles and piles of money, to ensure that a lot of people don't reach zero?
Or would it even be possible to reach zero? It seems that the lowest you could go would be the price of the least valuable single stock, since there's no way to lose any more money than that, as far as I can see. Even then, there might be a tie-game unless the game is short enough, and we start with little enough cash, that most people don't make it down to the lowest possible score.
And hey, what ever happened to Darien? We haven't heard anything from him in the Forum for awhile, and...well... -sniff- I miss that big lug! -sniff! sniff!- Ahem, just a little pollen in my sinuses there. Oh...it isn't pollen season anymore? Well, it was something like that, then.
