Win 95 User Profile Question

For anyone out there who is knowledgeable with Windows 95:

For several years, I have been using the option which allows multiple users to have their own settings. Today I decided that since nobody else ever uses my computer anymore, and I can't see that changing in the foreseeable future, I didn't really need that anymore, and I would rather not have to type in a password every time I boot up. As a result, I switched the option in Control Panel|Passwords to "All users have the same settings" or whatever it is. Of course, all my customization of desktop icons and Start Menu and who knows what else was lost when I rebooted. I have since tried copying all the files from the "don" folder in Windows/Profiles to the Default User and All Users folders, rebooting afterwards each time, and nothing changed in either case. My question, then, is if anyone knows how to make the switch to all users using the same settings without losing all of that customization. What files do I have to copy and where? Is there a registry key that I should be looking at?

Thanks,

Don Monkey
