Sam's isn't a very economical place for single
college students to shop. At least not for
grocery items. Unless you live in an apartment
with a few other people, you're not going to be
able to use up all of the food before it starts to
spoil.

For other, non-perishable items, like toilet
paper or toothpaste or soap or computers,
Sam's is very economical, even (and maybe
even especially) for students.

And it's just fine for families. It's nice to be able
to buy a huge box of diapers that lasts for a
month for $25 instead of having to buy $14
packages of the same from the grocery store
that only last about a week.
