I collect several assorted things - well, some of them are not so much 'collections' as 'if I see something like this that I like, I'll buy it' - like platypus things (hard to find, outside of Australia), and the occasional dragon thing (although my room has reached critical knick-knack mass so that's slowed down dramatically).

But my main collection now is animation art, collecting production cels and sketches, mainly from anime (because I like the stuff... and have you ever seen prices on Disney cels? Eeeek!). I found out that I really, really like the hobby. The art is very nice, and it really boggles the mind to think of the sheer NUMBERS of these painted plastic sheets go into even one MINUTE of animation. I think I have a bit more respect for animators now.
