Didn't expect you to have a bread machine. Guess I will have to revise my outdated notions of "Appliances Likely to be Found in a Single Guy's Kitchen".

Updated Notions about ALTBFIASGK
================================
1. Bread Machine
2. Can Opener

That doesn't surprise me, since my "Automatic Home Bakery Unit" is a Hitachi. Over the years, my family has given me all kinds of kitchen gadgets, in hopes that one of them will turn me into a cook. Hasn't happened yet, but think the bread machine has come the closest. It is so easy to use, a trained chimp could do it. (Er, nothing personal there, Monkeyman). Throw the ingredients into it, plug it in, leave it alone for four hours, and --bread. If we ever have a poll on favorite kitchen appliances, I will have a hard time deciding between the bread machine and the crock pot, another "hands-off" cooking opportunity.

Haven't tried the panettone yet, sounds good. My best effort is the sweet potato bread, a must have to make turkey sandwiches with after Thanksgiving.

For some reason, I felt compelled to keep track of how many loaves/dough I have made in the machine since I first received it in 1994.
