I'd suggest upgrading from Win95 to 2000 or XP if your computer can handle it. But that's just me...

Seriously, though, I'm quite pleased with WinXP. I've been using it since it came out, and my computer has frozen (i.e., so that it required a cold reboot) only about 3 times. And two of those times involved running old DOS programs that used video modes my laptop's video card doesn't support.
