En god ting ved at mange sprog er relaterede er at det gør det lettere at lære sprog. F.eks. vil en englænder, en tysker eller en dansker have nemt ved at lære hollandsk, da det fremstår som en blanding af de tre. På samme måde forestiller jeg mig at spansk, portugisisk og italiensk er relaterede.
