Next time I go to Carmel, I *might* be cajoled into getting a few for curious parties... when the weather gets cooler, that is, so I wouldn't be shipping melted chocolate. ;) Flake loses a lot of its charm when melted.

They sell Flakes at the gourmet store in my local mall. It's called Bun Penny Food and Wine. I had my first Flake the other day. It was a dollar and twenty-nine cents! That's pretty good in my area, cheaper than a gallon of gasoline, at least. I love those things! I gave my friend a piece and she didn't like it. Perhaps my taste buds were forever tuned when I moved to Germany and the only sweets I got were Smarties(the chocolate ones, not the little "fruit-flavored" ones prevalent in the states), Riesen, Lindt, and various German Nestle treats. Once I went to a chocolate factory in Cologne and oh! I almost died and went to heaven. Well, that's my rant on chocolate written, coincidentally, under the influence of chocolate.
