Yessss. I adore classical music, and in many cases I could care less about current popular music. (Pretty much all the mainstream new stuff I've heard lately has been saccarine and/or insipid.) Of course, I do tend to prefer either straight instrumental music or songs that not only have nice background music but also really good, well-crafted lyrics... or, in some cases, stuff that just defies description. ;) (Like, say... Ultra Relax, 2nd season theme song for Kodomo no Omocha, the most HYPER song known to mankind.)

Grish, if you like really strong instrumental, full orchestral music, two things that I've been listening to a lot lately are the soundtrack to Myst 3: Exile and the soundtrack to the anime series The Vision of Escaflowne. The first is pretty innovative (IMHO) and uses a lot of different (often obscure) instruments in a lot of COOL ways, and the second is more traditional but still extremely cool. (One song goes into *bagpipes* halfway through. It rules.)
