Only one major road crosses the border, and the only cities it really connects are Topeka, Kansas, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, neither of which are particularly large. If it's not THE least crossed state border, it must be in the bottom five or so. Any other candidates?

If not that one, then the one between Oklahoma and Colorado. Sure, you have Amarillo, Texas south along the only major road that passes the Oklahoma-Colorado border, but if you're going north from there, it's likely you're going to veer off on U.S. 87 to Interstate 25 and head on a line toward Denver and Colorado Springs. I don't see much on a map of southeastern Colorado.

Then again, there's Kansas. I'm torn between choosing Oklahoma-New Mexico and Oklahoma-Colorado.
