We have a football team at Kansas U.
In need of desp'rate improvements real bad.
Our recent losses, they are much askew,
And, simply put, our fans are really mad.
They hast beaten Southwest Missouri State,
But, since then, they hast but one other win:
A fluke field goal made Texas Tech irate.
Now, thou may see the stew our team is in.
Two weeks did pass, we lost to foe Mizzou,
(Our quarterback was "waiting for a bus")
Then fell to K-State, and Nebraska too
Head coach was sacked, and true fans raised a fuss.
And e'er since Texas shut us out, I fear
Our football team's declining fate is clear.
