So what is the expiration date for socks? One day only? Or two days? Perhaps even three for the bold... wow. Man, I never even thought about that. Three days. I think this is a very important question. And how about jeans? Or shirts? > > > > My rule about socks is that it's only gross to wear them two days in a row if you take them off in between. Sleep in your clothes, and it's ok. > > Hmm. I have the opposite rule: as long as you take off your socks when you get home, well in advance of bedtime (and it wasn't a hot, sweaty kind of day), *then* it's okay to wear them again. Sleep in your socks, and you can't wear them the next day. Unless, of course, you're in college. :-)
I guess that, in addition to being an insane word-purist, I'm also an insane clean-purist (well, that wasn't *too* redundant). It really icks me out (I don't care if that expression makes sense or not) to be wearing the same clothing more than once (with the exception of pants, which I will typically wear twice 'cause I canna afford more than the five pair I have and I'm a poor college student without the money to do laundry very often). Please note that my original reply, containing the college student exception, was posted before I read this - great minds think alike, I guess. :-}
