Hmm. I have the opposite rule: as long as you take off your socks when you get home, well in advance of bedtime (and it wasn't a hot, sweaty kind of day), *then* it's okay to wear them again. Sleep in your socks, and you can't wear them the next day. Unless, of course, you're in college. :-)
