OK, just hate. It was the week, a few years back, that the MLB players began to strike. But the strike went far beyond a week. It was silly.

Someone whose income comes simply from one athletic thing that happens to entertain millions of people is definitely lucky, but not necessarily talented to the extent that i bow to his every (or any) whim. I hate when athletes decide they're "worth" more. Haven't liked MLB since then ... except for Cal Ripken, who played through the strike.

It's been said that, in a perfect world, professional athletes would complain because teachers get paid too much. I like that idea.
