I don't think that would matter that much. You'd
still have to have a pretty large triangle to
accomodate a full-grown person comfortably,
and while technically it *could* save space, it
would only do so in a room large enough to
have corners deep enough for such a bed to fit
into. And IIRC, dorm rooms typically are rather
cramped, which is the reason for using bunk
beds in the first place.
