Loom rules. It's one of the best little games I've ever played. ;) The original came out in 1990, I believe. I have the version that comes on one CD-ROM, 256 colors, talkie - THAT was done a few years later. Loom was one of those games where it WAS the 'wave of the future' and you could tell. It was groundbreaking in it's way. I've only conclusively felt that way about games three times - with Loom, with King's Quest 5 (HUGE step up from KQ4 - it had GOOD GRAPHICS and TALKED and used the MOUSE), and with Myst.
Loom also has the dubious honor of being one of only two things ever that has prompted me to write some fan fiction about it. That story, Loom Song, is up on my site if anyone cares to see. (Link below.)

Hehe... I read this in the context of Loom, where a draft is a SPELL... and got VERY confused for a few seconds. ;)
