I like KQ7... it does have a more cartoony look and feel to it, but it's a fun game. And it has *gasp* CONTINUITY with the rest of the series, which is cool. The only thing that sucks about it is how you can only save your game by QUITTING. Yeah.

If you're looking for a really great game, though, look for King's Quest 6, which is regarded as the best of the series. I like it a lot, and it has a pretty nice plot.

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you play King's Quest 8, most likely the last in the series *grumble-stupid buyouts-grumble*... unless you're looking for an action game.
