He's already using the so-called "compatability pack." In fact, that very thing is the main reason he did choose to go with 2000 instead of ME. He figured it'd be more stable but he'd still be able to play his game. But it isn't working out very well.

I'll probaby end up going with XP eventually. I just wish there was a way I could test it out first without plunking down the cash. I'd hate to get it and then find out it's not worth it.
