Hmmm. I am going to answer this, despite not wearing contacts too often, just for another response.

When I do wear lenses, I tend to wear them all day, regardless of what I'm doing. In just after I wake up and am satisfied that I have some control over my fingers, out just before I go to bed. But I only wear them when it would adversely affect me to wear my glasses.
