KDKA, Channel 2 has this show on every
Saturday called "Hometown HighQ." Clever,
huh? Anyways, the show is a quiz show for
high school students. Every show has teams
from three area high schools, with three
students per team. My high school's team
coordinator chose me to be one of the three
team members. So there are good things that
come out of being smart, after all. Heck, I don't
even know what the grand prize is. But I think if
I lose, I still get a $10 gift card to Giant Eagle.
So hey, I'm getting at least 10 bucks out of this
deal. Not bad for knowing that the fall of
Constantinople occured in 1453, and that
glucose and fructose are monosaccahrides.

November 10 is the taping, and I don't know
what the air date will be, but I can only think of
a handful of people who live close enough to
watch it, anyways.
