except of course in dc, where elementary is 1-6, middle school is 6-8, junior high is 7-9 and high school is 9-12. yes, we have all of those, don't ask me why, i didn't form the school system, i just happen to go to school there. a great reason why my school system should not be admired. long live DC Public School.
