They scrapped them? That's weird. How long ago was that? I only ask because on my birthday last year (April 25th, if anyone's interested...no? that's a surprise) me and my family went off to Dover Castle for the day. Great place, that, complete with interactive tours and so on...what am I talking about? I thought this was about hovercrafts.
Anyway, when we were in the castle we could see a hovercraft starting up in the port. They do indeed rule, sounding as they do like aeroplanes starting up, and skimming around all over the place. As I was saying, however, it was certainly there, and if it wasn't going cross-channel where was it going? There were a couple of SeaCats around the place too...
