Earlier tonight, my college had an outdoor worship service. I was sitting behind the band because I was running Powerpoint for the lyrics to the songs and for the speaker, and I was able to have a unique and very awesome perspective.

It was dark outside, and the people in the crowd were little more than a blur. Until the candles. During one song, the singers onstage lit their candles, and the flame was passed on from person to person. In one short moment, the scene on the bleachers before me transformed from a dim smudge to hundreds of points of light, illuminating individual faces that were all worshiping God together.

I do not believe I can adequately describe how truly amazing that was.
