I just got used to you living to the north of me, and then you go saying things like "y'all." I have to wonder if maybe you're turning into Howard. ;-}
It matters not where you were born or how you were brought up to speak. If you go and live in the South for any appreciable amount of time, you WILL begin to talk like a Southerner. It seems unavoidable.
It happened to my family. We only lived in North/South Carolina for a combined eight years, and we've been back in Ohio for almost seventeen years, yet we still catch ourselves saying "y'all" and longing for sweet tea and grits.
Issachar and his wife are DOOMED.
