I love to do songs and poem/skits on stage, but a strange thing happens when I do. Typically, I have absolutely no accent whatsoever (what exactly does a Californian sound like--and not the "DUDE!" ones, either--?), but whenever I start to perform, I have kind of a drawl that starts to come out. Which is really weird, considering I've never lived anywhere but California, my dad is from California, and my mom has lived in so many different states that she's never picked up an accent. It jus' cums aut sumtimes.
