Well, I can describe what the different game
sets look like. The old commander's edition
had three rulebooks that came with three
different boxed sets. The books were fairly
thin, maybe 1/4-in thick. Book one was blue,
book 2 yellow and book 3 sort of a melon
color.

The captains edition (also known to many as
the "Doomsday" edition) came as two thicker
rulebooks, a gray "basic" book and then a blue
"advanced" book, and then to get the rules and
add-ons that were in books 2 and 3 in the old
set, you had to buy a bunch of smaller "C
modules."

Both sets also included a hex map, dice, SSD
(ship systems display) sheets, EA (energy
allocation) forms, and several sheets of
die-cut counters.

If you did buy it ten years ago, I would guess
there's a good chance you have the
commander's edition, since doomsday was
just being released and it might not have
made it over the pond yet at that point.

I guess I'll wait and see what you come up
with. :o)
