I'm proud of the nation for coming together like that. This is a great nation and a great people, when we choose to show it.

I never posted here before, to my memory, but I've been reading on and off and I know that rationality and community would come through here.

I'm very disappointed in those Americans who are breaking mosque windows and terrorizing the Arab-American population, though. That's the last thing we need -- racism, at a time like this. Holding people responsible for what co-religionists and of similar ethnic background are doing is absolutely ridiculous.

I wish there was some way we could come out of this without killing any innocent people on the other side of the globe, but since there isn't, really, I think we ought to at least take care of our OWN innocent people.
