Thank God you are both okay.

I didn't hear about anything that happened until four o'clock this afternoon- only by the chance that I walked to work with Darien since our car died did I hear about it at all. I'm in such shock. As so many have said, it is so surreal.

It is hard to believe those planes were hijacked a mere two hours' drive from where I live. It is even harder to believe that people I *know* were one block away from the attack. And of course, when I hear about the plane which crashed in PA, I was terrified that it may have been where my family is. Luckily, it was not.

I would say my prayers are with everyone affected, but seriously, who is *not* affected?

I just don't know what to say....
