For those of you who were not in RinkChat during the aftermath of the terrorist attacks and were worried about us, here is the quick note I've been sending to all of our friends:

Both Tamara and I are okay. Tamara works about ten miles from the WTC, I work about one block from it. I was underground when the first plane hit; I probably arrived at the World Trade Center about a minute or two after it hit. I was in my office when the second one hit. I am home now, having walked up to another trans-Hudson subway and managed to escape the island. Tamara has made it home after they finally reopened the George Washington Bridge.

Anyway, as I've said, we're both okay.
