Well, here I am, in the beautiful Berkshires of Northwestern Massachusetts, beginning the four years that will supposedly be the best of my entire life. It's been... an experience. On the one hand, I love it. On the other hand, I don't. I'm not sure that I can explain why, but maybe some of you know what I'm talking about.

In any case, I really am having a blast, and I've been hugely busy, which is why I've been scarce here recently. I'm not sure if that will be better or worse once classes start tomorrow, but I guess we'll see! In any case, I'd love to hear from any or all of you - 05lry@williams.edu - and any of you who are passing through the area, stop by and see me! True, it isn't as convenient as DC, but hey, whatever, it's prettier! I love you all... it's been great the last few days to have somewhere stable to come, where the people themselves haven't changed, and where I have established deep friendships. I think I'm going to need that in the days to come.
