Yes, all the time. The more foliage, the better. I love driving along the stretches of I-5 in the San Diego area where the hillsides are completely covered by bright purple flowers. And there's a spot along the I-5 near Griffith Park in the L.A. area where you drive over/alongside a canal with pictures of cat faces at regular intervals. For many years, we'd watch for them every time we drove past. Roadside decorations *do* get noticed.

I know I sure don't. And my tax money will probably get wasted on this. Which is why when I run for mayor, you all better vote for me.
