That's the fun of Gauntlet! You won't get anywhere (not that you will if you play more strategically...) but it's always more fun if you just attack and attack... By the way, I would be the guy playing Questor, so that strategy wouldn't have worked anyway. I'd lead the charge into the monster-stuffed room. :-}
