Ha-ha! I like!

Actually, I never really wanted to cheat at Gauntlet, unless maybe there were a cheat to get rid of that darned "Death" monster with the life-draining fingertip. Kind of like E.T. after converting to the Dark Side or something. One thing I remember about the game was that--and I do not wish to convey any racist idea in making this observation--the Asian kids in the arcade usually seemed to approach the game much more deliberately and tactically than I did. When I played the game with three other Asian guys, they'd be instructing me to "get over behind that wall and draw the ghosts to your side of the room" while the guy playing Questor would snipe at them from another corner. Their system usually worked very well, but at that age I didn't have enough patience to enjoy it all that much. My system for playing Gauntlet was more or less like King Arthur's knights attacking the killer rabbit:

"CHAAAARRRRGE!!!!!"

--seconds later--

"RUN AWAAAAYYYY!!!!"

Iss "yellow-bellied, lily-livered, spineless worm of a man" achar
