I'm really in no position to answer this, but I will anyways, since someone else can fix any harm I've done later. I don't know if this is what you're asking, but I think one of the more popular current ways of depicting an electron is a "cloud". There's a certain possibility that an electron will be found at any cartain point, so I *think* the cloud is more dense at areas where the electron is more likely to be. Then there's also some crazy stuff about mass being energy and waves and all that, that I'm still not very clear on.
