I just got another question popping into my head: I've not had many years of physics in school, so I'm not especially good at this. What I'm wondering, is: An electron orbiting an atom core, is that scientifically proven to be a particle while it's in orbit? That's how it's pictured when we learn about them, but since its position is so unmeasurable, I'm just wondering if there could be some alternative state for it.
