Arrrgh Chicken Pox! I hope that it is the worst ordeal that most children go through. I had pox on my TONGUE. And my scalp. Even inside my ears. Ack!

One kid showed up at daycare with chicken pox, so the people who ran the daycare made him sit by himself for a week. Of course it didn't help... all the kids got it, my brother and I at the same time. They isolated that poor Typhoid Mary (or Chicken Pox Billy or whatever) for nothing.

Out of all the childhood diseases, isn't that the only one that remains common? I had one friend who had the mumps, but I think that they pretty much have that one eliminated. I could be wrong.
