We did it with the technology of the 60s, don't you think we could do it now cheaper, easier, and better?? Where are my moon colonies? Where are my manned missions to Mars? My generation was supposed to be having kids on the moon, now it doesn't even look like my grandkids will be able to even visit there. >
Out of curiosity, have you read any of the arguments about the manned moon missions being a hoax, and if so, what do you think about them? I'd like it if instead of dismissing the hoax claims as absurd, NASA provided a solid rebuttal. Though not a conspiracy theorist, I have to admit that some of the arguments for the hoax theory appear to have merit.
I'm waiting with bated breath for Japan to finish building its super-powerful telescope in a couple of years, at which time we'll be able to actually look at the surface of the moon and see for ourselves whether there's an American flag planted there. :-)
