When the people in Las Vegas tore The Strip down and built a Disneyland clone, they quit offering low low prices to lure the gamblers in. Now the people who were attracted to the low low prices, go to Laughlin. I think it's the same for Bull Head City which is only a short water taxi ride away. The next time I get the urge to go to Vegas, I'm going to stop off at Laughlin and see if all of this is true. I might just stay a while. > Howard
Heh...I feel like I should defend Vegas....but I won't. Example of whats wrong with Vegas: At the New York-New York Casino, they have a minature version of the Statue of Liberty. They opened up a new resteraunt in the casino, based on the ESPN theme, called ESPNSportszone. TO celebrate the opening, they put a giant t-shirt bearing the resteraunts name on the statue.
It just struck me kind of irreverant.
