Laughlin is near Bull Head City, which is near the southern tip of Nevada and about an hour south of Las Vegas. When the people in Las Vegas tore The Strip down and built a Disneyland clone, they quit offering low low prices to lure the gamblers in. Now the people who were attracted to the low low prices, go to Laughlin. I think it's the same for Bull Head City which is only a short water taxi ride away. The next time I get the urge to go to Vegas, I'm going to stop off at Laughlin and see if all of this is true. I might just stay a while.
