I was reading a story book with my boyfriend's niece, and it was a Disney/Mickey Mouse one. And there was one thing that made me really curious: What is Goofy?

Mickey's a mouse
Donald's a duck
Pluto's a dog
etc

What is Goofy?

ding"thinking maybe dog, but then there'd be two dogs, maybe..."dong
