Because the author is so busy working with the movie (to make sure it turns out true to the book, I guess) the fifth book has now been delayed till January. This is what I heard a couple of days ago in the bookstore where I work. I hope that J.K.R. is paying close enough to the movie that not even Chris Columbus can kill it.
